To Build A Life Worth Living

About

About Dr. Paggeot

I am a licensed clinical psychologist working in the Ann Arbor area.  When I am not seeing clients, I teach psychology courses at Eastern Michigan University.  I completed my doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Eastern Michigan University.

During my doctoral training, I worked with adults and couples in a variety of settings, including college counseling, hospital emergency room and inpatient floors, forensic inpatient, and veteran’s hospitals.  Across these settings, I gained experience with both acute and long-term trauma, adjustment to life stressors and changes, couple’s distress and relationship problems, depression, anxiety, panic, personality disorders, and substance abuse problems.

Treatment

Specializing in Evidence-Based Individual and Couples Therapy

Individual Therapy

I have experience and training with a wide range of mental health difficulties.  Although my clinical interests are broad, I particularly enjoy helping clients who are struggling with anxiety, depression, sleep difficulties, chronic nightmares, borderline personality disorder, emotional dysregulation, and relationship distress.

Couples Therapy

I offer couple's therapy to couples with many struggles, including conflict over finances and parenting, trauma secondary to infertility or miscarriage, substance use, and difficulties with communication or intimacy.  I will meet with both partners together and separately before discussing a treatment plan with both partners.

Group Therapy and Workshops

I periodically offer time-limited group therapy sessions, as well as educational workshops on a variety of topics.  To sign up, please follow the link below or go to the Treatments page.

Update: All workshops and groups are postponed until further notice due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
